We're back from the UK and just days away from embarking on the West Coast leg of our tour. The CD version of Gods of the Earth is available now, the vinyl edition will be available in two weeks -- we'll have them with colored vinyl on all dates of the upcoming tour. East Coast dates have been added, aswell as dates supporting Metallica.

Mixing has been completed on the new album, entitled _Gods of the Earth_. U.S release is currently scheduled for April 1st. A 10-inch vinyl E.P. featuring the first single, "Fire Lances of the Ancient Hyperzephyrians", will be released March 18th. We will be touring the U.S. in the spring.

NEW WEBSITE! The Sword steps into the 21st millenium with a newly redesigned website by friend and colleague Saunder Jurriaans of Priestbird and Lapdog of Satan.

The Sword is currently in the studio recording their second full-length album due out in March 2008. Though no title is known as of yet, the album will feature nine new tracks and a new version of "Under the Boughs" which appeared on the Invaders compilation.

Beginning November 30, The Sword will be embarking on a tour of the eastern U.S. with Valient Thorr, Black Cobra, and The Roller. Check the Performances page for dates.

A limited edition The Sword/Witchcraft split 12" will be out in November. It features an unreleased song and cover art by the incredible Vance Kelly.

A ten day tour of the U.K. is being planned for March. Details as they become available.
